Temporary Tattoo; brings hospital care right to your doorstep

I was sent this by my friend (thanks Esther lol!) , when I watched it I was really impressed by the technology proposed, it is a temporary device (tattoo) that women who are pregnant can wear when they are at home for the doctor to be able to monitor them without having to stay in hospital for long periods of time. How does that sound? This frees up hospital beds allowing doctors to have more time to treat other people. However there is an ethical issue of where your data goes? is this a big problem? Would you be happy with your data being shared to health care professionals to identify a disease spread? or to insurance companies to see how much risk you propose?

  1. If all that you are worried about is the fact of privacy…than I think the horse has already bolted! The level of privacy now in the UK is at an all time low….you can literally find anything you want about anyone on the net. So I think if the monitor will help to prevent complication and promote wellbeing than it will be a welcomed facility by most
