With the progression in technology and the strain on healthcare costs, injecting technology into the healthcare services is just one technique to reduce costs, simultaneously improving productivity whilst keeping user satisfaction high.
The debate of healthcare apps and wearables taking-over (I use the term loosley) the role of doctors is controversial. Given the problems the NHS is currently facing, it is important to identify whether technology could pose a huge benefit for doctors, rather than relying on them solely.
